Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What's that Mario 30th box?

It's a set of 4 pins (look at my pic a few posts before), they were giving them for free at Gamestop with the Switch preorder.

    Fair play, lad. That's deadly.

How's it work in terms of machines? D'you have to jump around on different ones than you're used to or do you get to play your "own" or what?

Because we are set up as a region under the UK league.I dont run it btw.One of the lads up north does.
there is 9 regions. They also have a great set up with the rules/trophys etc etc
1,2,3,4,5 and 6th in each region qualify for the finals in the UK.

    more info here

    http://www.ukpinballleague.co.uk/leaguetable-ir.php

    @Mr.Saturn

We try to have 6 meets each year.
I think we had 20+ different tables over the 6 meets.
You practice for a few hours then play one game on each table and that is your round score.

Its not to serious at all and there can be a lot of cans consumed .:D

Next meet in my house sometime in April, everyone welcome

Dont expect to get a trophy though lads....whole thing is rigged :P...or I'm just bitter about my 5th place haha

I've 3rd place by the skin of my teeth at the moment. After my performance on Sunday I'd say i'll drop off the leaderboard

@doge Are those bits any good, A ton of the ones I got with my drill last year are either snapped or worn out so I'm in need of a new set

Ive no idea, adding them to the bosch bits i have to give me a full range of sizes. They were only 5 quid each in Aldi so i presume theyre not going to be thst great?

The bosch masonry bits are meant to wear out very fast, Dewalt do decent bits.

Just eBay, didn't see them on other sites at the time. I messaged the seller about the first two (DC and Saturn) and asked if I could get a discount for buying two, kinda cheeky but I got a reduction.
MD I bought and the seller didn't post it, had to claim ect., eventually found another for a decent price after a few months, was e25 posted.

This arrived today, initial impressions are very very good. Since all my pcbs are in storage I cant do exact comparisons but the games I've tried which I've played alot of (Bubble Bobble, nzs, g'n'g, final fight) I cant notice any difference at all, zero screen tearing, pixel perfect resolution. Very impressed, so much so I've ordered another for vertical games.

Currently in the process of upgrading the old Gaming PC to a slightly newer build thanks to the generous donation of a Coolermaster Cosmos S case.

That'll sort out my airflow issues for the foreseeable future anyway.
