Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Called into Tesco today and walked out with the cooked chicken I was sent for and a copy of Dead Rising 2 for the PS3, the latter being a fiver!
The chicken, was six euro, in case you were wondering.
I wouldn't rush though, they seem to have plenty, of cooked, roast chicken, not Dead Rising 2 for the PS3, I got the last of those.
So, Dead roast chicken rising, for six euro, on the PS3! Happy days!

A seller by the name of Gamergeorge on Adverts has a few nice Snes games for sale.
I just paid for a copy of Thunder Spirits myself.
15 with postage is fairly cheap for the title.

[Obvious troll] Now, I know, I already own Thunderforce 3 on the MD but this is different enough to warrant purchase, and the Snes has precious few great shmups, it needs a charity cast off from the mighty MD every now and again! [/Obvious troll]

Definitely a lot of e numbers, not something I'd get often.

I'm one of those weirdos who would choose blue, crispy M&Ms every time. It's like my own taste buds are forcing me to be ostracised by society at large.

Not than I buy a pack of M&Ms on anything other than a bi-annual basis.

Those blue crispy ones are really tasty too, completely forgot they existed!

I had a bit of a head on me last night after spending the evening in the pub, and in my tipsy stupidity decided to pour the whole bag in :D.

Looking back, that was a bit mental as I hadn't tested it out to see if the mechanism was still vending things properly.

Threw a euro in and it worked though, thank fook!

Apparently 1.5kg of M&Ms doesn't even fill it half way

So my Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k 'Toastrack' (and it gets quite toasty indeed :) )arrived yesterday. Pretty good condition and and working well with the new RGB Cable I got for it.

As a bonus I got the old school 'Data Recorder' included too. I forgot how loud these these things can be. With Speccy Data it can make a hell of a racket. :D

    Thunder Spirits arrived, hurrah!
And the 40 in 1 cart from Tec Toy, expecting all sorts of interesting things there.
Or at least I was until I saw that it was actually a 40 in 1 bonus game cart for one of the @games MD clones.
The games are sh1te and may not even work on a genuine MD :(
    DAMN YOU ADVERTS.IE!!

So here's all the stuff I got in Japan. Didn't get as much as I thought after all and there was a couple of other things I'd wanted but had to be aware of weight and space restrictions coming back. I did want a PS2 console but they're actually still relatively expensive over there.

First the pokemon stuff. Pokemon center was amazing and to be there on launch day for the new games was awesome. It was like a pilgrimage to Mecca :P Got loads of other random bits too but the main stuff:

    7C55DAD4-BFF6-453E-8ABB-E94208CC9C50_zps1r1uj8gv.jpg

And then the rest of the stuff:

    C88F01A5-7E5B-46CD-8914-70C4F7CF0EFB_zps1fvdhde5.jpg

Overall the trip was incredible and feel so lucky and humbled to have experienced the country and culture. I didn't really go for a gaming trip but did of course manage to pop into some arcades along the way. Got quite addicted to Pokémon tretta. Price wise the games are extremely reasonably priced and secondhand stuff is probably half the price you'd pay on ebay. Like the wii for example was €7 and the wonderswan was €8. Very sad to be back and already thinking about planning another trip!

(A&R trip to Japan in 2016 maybe? :D)
