Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Seems lighter than the Kortek 26". Bracket helps i guess.

I do have a 240v->120v so just need the video connector.
    Anyone know the type?

    That connector pictured is the video connector - the wellsgardner use this standard;
    INPUT SIGNAL CONNECTOR P001
    JST type B10P-VR
    Mating Molex type 09-50-7101
    PC Connector Description Mating Connector
    Pin Pin
    1 Red 10
    2 Green 9
    3 Blue 8
    4 Ground 7
    5 +/- Vertical Sync 6
    6 +/- Horizontal Sync/comp 5
    7 Key 4
    8 Ground 3
    9 +/- Vertical Sync 2
    10 +/- Horizontal Sync/comp 1

That chassis board looks very crusty, I'd be cleaning that before even thinking about powering it :)

If you didn't notice it yesterday chances are you won't see it when it's on.

Dam iOS, thats the last time I upload pics from an iPad. All the pictures are rotated the correct way when I viewed the thread on it. I just looked at the post on the PC and now I see the pictures are all upside down.

I was looking at this for like 10 minutes on the iPad and could not figure out what he was referring to.

Wouldn't worry about it, happens often enough and one can never have enough headstand practice! :p

Not a physical "Get" but has anyone tried Hearthstone? I installed it on my phone for the sake of something to play as I was heading down to the parents for the weekend and my brother mentions at the last minute that he's swiped my 360.

Ive always dismissed card games like Magic but this is different, played about 50 games of it this weekend, cannot stop! A well played hand in this is more satisfying than anything Dark Souls or the rest let you do, pure gaming crack and totally free if you want it to be, Ive unlocked about €20 worth of decks just by beating random people online anyway.

Virtua Cop for the PS2 has landed.
One of the best reasons to own a lightgun and a CRT.
Though I do have the Saturn games as well.
I discovered why my lightgun didn't like the Trinitron.
Turns out the video signal was being buggered by the scart Christmas tree I have behind the scenes.
Disconnecting a few improved the picture no end and the lightgun games work again.
    Hooray!

Yep, was playing that in work on Saturday between watching the snooker and FA Cup on my phone, ha.

Treated myself to a copy of Boku no Natsuyasumi (My Summer Vacation) Portable after meaning to for quite a while. This is the main game series from the people who made the delightful Attack of the Friday Monsters! While that was luckily translated, the main series hasn't been yet despite having three full sequels and PSP remakes for the first two titles. Given it's a game about walking leisurely around a rural Japanese community, that's not that surprising.

Anyway, have heard lots of good things about it, and was reminded by the recent Kill Screen article on the game. Amazed by how fast it arrived, only ordered last week and shipping was only confirmed on Monday.

Now, let's see how playable it is with my incredibly rudimentary Japanese ;)

Definitely email the seller first and explain your issues. I'd be at least expecting a partial refund. Bear in mind you might have to send it back if you ask for a full refund and you'll be liable for the return postage costs. PayPal/eBay nearly always side with buyers so you should be ok.

Afaik the GameCube controller will only work when playing GameCube games and wii games that support it. As in you can't use it to navigate the home screen but will work once playing a game.

You can recover return postage costs with Paypal these days:

    https://www.paypal.eu/returns/

Nobody seems to know about it for some reason. Its a bit convoluted but worth it for the price of shipping a console. You'll have to take a picture of the package in the Post Office with the labels on it before you post it.

I'd be sending it straight back to them, wouldn't even put it in a box. Full refund and negative feedback, the seller deserves nothing less.

Cheers, never knew that! Have you done it yourself? Wonder how straight forward it is.

Would I also get a refund for the postage I paid to the seller in the first place too, no?

Yep, might just do that now, just want whatever is least hassle tho. If i get a partial refund to cover the costs of a remote i'll think i'll just accept that out of ease.

So far hes offered a measly £6, which I declined and showed him the average price of the pair are closer to £15, but i'd accpet £12 off the bat.

Seems fair enough to me, if not, i'll dump it back to him.

Paypal will cover you for the original postage that you paid too. I'd just be pissed with the seller for the packaging and the lack of items that you thought you were paying for. I think I remember someone on here bought a VB and the box was folded in bits when they got it and folded box was shoved in a smaller box for shipping.

What I would advise is to do everything by the book and don't do something out of spite or anger, with regards to getting money back it could come back and bite you. You should be refunded if everything is followed right.

The main this is if goes back it goes back recorded post. I don't think it's a case of doing anything out of spite, but I wouldn't take the time to package it up any better than the seller did in the first place. The item was completely different than the item description, the seller substituted a faulty 3rd party controller for an original one that was shown in the listing. They put no effort into even getting a box to ship the console in, thus ruining the outer box with tape. Sellers like this should be highlighted to protect it happening to someone else down the road, the best way of this is by leaving appropriate feedback.
