    Dave,

I sent John a PM yesterday to say that i would be in on Sunday to collect the TV and Projector, probably at around opening time.

Also just wondering if you had a cat5 to hdmi converters or would i need to go to maplin or somewhere for it?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

No problem on the Sunday collection.

We don't carry these in stock but we can order in the CYP ones.

Word of advice - Do not buy cheap ones. Do not by passive ones if you are going any kind of distance or if you are sending High quality signals.

They will give you more hassle than I'd care to mention.

The CYP stuff is awesome and just works !

    See you on Sunday !

    Hi Shane,

Unfortunately we've none left at all and they're now a finished model.

Is there anything in particular you liked about the Samsung?

Hi John, I'd actually be interested in that 47 inch lg but I'd absolutely have to be certain there would be no hdmi handshake issues between it and my Denon avrx 3000 which I left into the store last week.
Its still there,I have to collect it anyway and might stretch to the Lg.
I can find no reviews for it though?
As per my thread of woe on the avrx3000 is there anyway of knowing that there wouldnt be handshake issues on the lg versus my own kdl 40ex403 sony?
David rang me from the store around 7 on that evening saying they had seen no interference with my denon hooked to one of panny display tvs.
Thats whats convinced me theres a handshake issue.

    WB,

thankfully handshake issues are really rare these days ( ahem,  projectors with long crappy HDMI leads excepted!), specifically with the X3000 / X4000 we haven't had any issues at all! so I really don't think there should be any issues if you went for the 47LN570 ( that is the best deal by a country mile of the ones above!)

( I'm presuming that you have tried swapping out the HDMI's??

The 47LN570 is a bit of a rare beast, I think it was pretty much just for the Irish market but its technically identical to the 47LN575 except that it doesn't have built in wifi ( we will do a dedicated LG dongle with it no problem free of charge)

    Hi,

Can you send me a list of TV's that you have in stock, and the prices? I am looking for something in the lower price bracket. i.e 350 and under.

    Thanks

    Hi Dar100.

Which size of screen are you interested in? This would help me narrow the market down for you.
We have a number of screens in all sizes.
Let me know and I'll draw you up a list of ones we can ship and ones that would need collected from our store in Belfast.

    Hi Dar100.

Unfortunately at the moment we only have on screen in stock around that price bracket which would be the:

    Toshiba 40L1333 priced at £279.95 / 363.99 Euro

We can also get our hands on the Bllaupunkt 40" priced at £249.95 / 324.99 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/blaupunkt/40-148/blau-40-148

    The Toshiba 40L3455DB priced at £329.95 / 428.99 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/toshiba/40l3455db/tosh-40l3455db

Shipping on these screens would be priced at £29.99 / 38.99 Euro

I hope this is of help.

    Any further questions please ask.

I will try and get it our before you would collect and have a go at it.

Which Denon are you collecting and I can add the LG to your order if you wish?

    Hi Whitebriar.

    Ahh, now I remember.

It will be no problem to hook it up to the LG once you arrive up.

If you let me know when you will be up I can book a block in the demo room to have this set up for you to have a watch at.

The Denon that you have is a very nice unit.

yeah I love that Denon,so I hope the handshake issue was some quirky Sony thing and we will solve the problem?)
I might bring up my sky hd box which should play recordings with a valid card inserted (mine) and the hdmi lead I'm using to mirror what I have here and see if the interference is banished, which it will be I'd say if that's ok?
I will phone Friday or Monday to tie down which day next week I'll be up.
    Cheers.
