Lakeside Estate Newbridge?

    Moving from Dublin and thinking about putting an offer on a house for sale in Lakeside in Newbridge. Does anyone know what the area is like?

    Lakeside Use to have a really bad reputation a few years ago but is not any worse than anywhere else. One thing. If the house is near the lake be wary. The lake is prone to flooding in heavy rain and it has gotten to houses nearby. Not as bad as places with rivers nearby but still a pain.

    The train station is about 3 minutes walk away. Town a five to ten min walk and primary school about 15 mins walk away.

    Do not move here.

    Rough. Not accepting to outsiders and houses prone to flooding.

    Look elsewhere in the town.
