Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty ironic how Valencia grabs Sterling by the throat for far less of a tackle and is sent off twice in 4 games.

Peter Collins couldn't give a monkeys who's there on the 13th.

France should go home now, this is dreadful.

France are just tragic. Had 20 on them winning, but just put the same amount on the draw just now at evens odds so basically just cashed out. I really have no faith in them to score against a very tired, pretty poor team with just 10 men. Awful stuff.

Well see if Remy changes anything.

Well if Valencia was stupid enough to commit that type of tackle in a meaningless World Cup warm up match then I'd expect the same reaction from the whole French team.

Is this still 0-0? switched to the other game in the hope France might score.

Cant beleive they are the only team to let me down in tonights accum.

France couldn't give a ****. They're through as group winners, time to conserve your energy.

The other good Valancia has been excellent for Ecuador in this tournament.

Benzema is woeful. If the shot isn't on for him, he's not interested.

  • Registered Users Posts: 677 ✭✭✭vidor

    That's two reds for Giroud.

Someone take Pogba out back and give him some Sweeney.

Its not meaningless to players trying to get a start in world cup. Two footed off the floor is never right (even if you get a bit of the ball imo).

After watching him a few times this season at Liverpool, I cannot recall anything that would lead to him being described as a 'nasty bit of work'.
That stupid elbow in the first half is the only thing I can recall of him engaging in the darker arts of football.
If we are using one instance to label a player as you labeled him, there would be quite a few floating around.
Has he a past history in French club football?

More than a few sly elbows flying around here.

Yes Ray. Every time you ever make a sub you should ensure your keeper hasn't injured himself in the last 10 seconds.

Oh right, I'm not aware of said posters reputation. Despite being on here since 2009, I'm still quite naive and a 'noob' as knex called me earlier.

Ok so are you saying Valencia had every right to be pissed after the Sterling tackle? I understand why he was, surprised if you can't.

He's another guy I'll never understand how he got on TV. In the massive sea of retired footballers, surely there's better than the likes of Ray Houghton, Mark Lawrenson and Robbie Savage?
