Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Keep Neymar quiet and Brazil are toast

Brazil are the host nation most tickets were sold before the world cup and surprise surprise Brazilians bought them. Any neutral their will also have a Brazil jersey on as well. Some of the Brazil hate on here is ridiculous.

Eh, no hate, just an observation...

Chile's awful passing really giving Brazil hope. They have been on the ropes the last few minutes

  • Registered Users Posts: 252 ✭✭A Greedy Algorithm

I really hope Chile win this. Brazil aren't terrible but the likes of Hulk and Fred just don't have the quality and it shows.

I can't even take a slash for fear of missing something in this game!

A team like Germany would destroy Brazil..

Chile need to get composed again. They were bossing this for a lot of the half but have resorted to booting it.

The long ball is going to backfire on Chile, there's no need for it.

    Great save.

    Wow, Go Hulk!!

What a fantastic save from the Chilean keeper. Brazil on the up again.

The fitness gap is showing now, Chile just barely hanging on the last few minutes.

If it goes to pens, chile will win it.

Hulk nearly making mugs of us all.

    Chile seem punched out.

    Good save that.

Like something I'd pull off myself.

Chile are beating themselves here. Theyve totally lost the nerve. This is the sh*t modern day Brazilian team Chile not the 1970 or 1982 team.

Hulk is playing well, unfairly disallowed goal, then he put it on a silver platter for Jo and he's just forced a save from the keeper

Don't think Chile will have the legs for extra time. Looking fairly tired already.

    Vidal off Sosoon?

    Off goes the great man.

Chile are just hoofing it forward, they are playing for extra time. Always a dangerous time to lose concentration.

5 Mins added time no doubt.

Vidal coming off. Big loss for Chile.

Doesn't look good for Chile. He was doing most of the tackling and was a good bit less tired than some of the other players too.

You can criticise that man for many things but come on now

This Brazil team is so poor when you really look hard at the side. Chile are the better all round team.

He's done well to last that long, putting in the kind of performance he just put in.

It would be interesting to see how Chile cope though Extra Time (if it gets there) without Vidal, that man is a total machine for them.

    dont go celebrating yet.. :D

Waiting for Galway to beat the Cats for that !

Feck. I can't have this go to extra time and penalties.

Between the football on the box, the hurlin on the wireless, the chicken in the oven, and me making smartarse comments on here, I don't think I'll be able to manage.

Cremated chicken for dinner I reckon. :(

Chile's feet look so heavy at this point, really showed on that chance there.

Webb letting some questionable stuff go, in favour of Brazil.

  • Registered Users Posts: 252 ✭✭A Greedy Algorithm

Every player on that pitch is totally shattered by the looks of it. Apart from the keepers - lazy feckers.

What do you expect he is under orders from FIFA to go soft on Brazil.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

The intensity of Chile's game sort of leaves them screwed if it goes to extra time

Not just clear bookings, but constant niggly fouls
