Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Colombia win, even with Suarez playing I think they'd pull it off.

I guess with Colombia missing Falcao it evens itself out with Suarez missing.

    Colombia to win easily.

Hopefully Uruguay can triumph in the face of the injustice of the Suarez banning.

Time for someone to Photoshop Suarez into the stadium and get it trending on twitter :pac:

Think this is closer than people think. Uruguay had one bad game against Costa Rica but they were very good in their last two games. Colombia have been more impressive overall but they had a much easier group than Uruguay.

In the qualifiers, Colombia won 4-0 in Colombia and Uruguay won 2-0 in Uruguay; I do think Uruguay miss Suarez more than Colombia miss Falcao. But this game will be tight and could go either way.

That said Colombia's morale will be much higher than Uruguay and they got to rest most of their players in the last game so that could be the difference; especially if it goes to extra time.

Gonna go against the grain and say Uruguay win. Siege mentality, them against the world etc etc

The rallying around a player who severely dented your chances of going further is mind boggling. As is the apparent blindness towards the incident.

Wish he was playing to be honest.

Can't believe they are rallying around Luis.

I remember playing in a game and one of our team members decked the other team's player and got sent off. I was furious with him for weeks.

Time for Cavani to step up. He's a class player but has shown very little in this tournament. With Suarez missing, Uruguay's are really reliant on him to get them through.

Cavani really needs to step up to the plate tonight.

Sure Mick Dundee beat the Colombians on his own (granted in his own backyard). No bother to Uruguay :)
