Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Really entertaining game. Fair play to the Algerians for not crumpling when the Germans ramped up the pressure.

    Germany's high line is a great advertisement to the better teams of how to play against them.

    If this game shows one thing it's that every good team needs a good DM to keep some balance. Germany are getting destroyed in any of the close 50/50 battles around the centre circle and when they don't have the ball they are getting breezed past.

    So many missed chances. Algerians are not great at finishing. Very athletic team with good strong defenders but limited.
    Think Liam Brady summed it up. No great team in this world cup. Exciting game though.
