Obviously what is sanctioned will depend on individual circumstances but what is BOI's general policy on LTV for a house purchase and renovation/extension?

    Hi okedoke,

Thanks for contacting us on Boards.

In general we can lend up to 90% of the value of the property for a Principle Dwelling Home mortgage, including Equity release. With Loan to Value for Buy to Let, this can be up to 75%. As you said, this is subject to lending criteria.

You can find further information on this here

Please let us know if you need help with anything else.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Thanks Sarah

just to clarify - that would be up to  90% of purchase price plus 90% of extension/renovation spend?
