Well the one I know of never tipped trailers and always had the correct oil in it and the lift worked well one day and was a disaster the next for some unknown reason .
Ford tractors have the best hydraulics imo
a neighbour has a 996 he used to have it on a silage wagon, often borrowed silage trailers and another neighbours buckrake to buck up grass he tried bucking up with the same buckrake on a 4wd 290 he had he nearly melted the 290, never had any trouble with hyds on the 996 ,only prob he had with the hyds was he split the pump with the vac tanker holding the valve open with the lift lever

Ford 4000 4600 great little tractors. Actually deutz fahr dx.3.90 I think was the best machine I ever seen. Local has one with over 13000 hours on clock. engine never touched. Had a couple of clutches, and brakes done once. Still very tidy,

Ford 4000 was the big tractor on the farm when I was lad, she was a bitch on front bearing and done fair bit of time on three wheels every summer

Favourite was me International B275 , when all the fancy shirte got stuck they came to me pull them out

Deutz , I really really wanted to drive one of them.

Yes they were hard on bearings right enough. Especially using the loader

You would change a stub bearing in them in a few minutes though and I bought one the other day for €9.
