Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why Do Channels Like Film 4 Play Really Old Movies? Can't Afford Licensing for New?

I sometimes like a good movie, not often because I'm always side tracked, I'm sure a lot of people do night shifts, don't get home till the early hours. Film 4 stops their service at 3am i think, when many people are still awake. Is it the licensing costs on new releases, they can't or won't pay the fees?

They were showing a lot of Kurosawa films a month or two ago. Last week they had Don't Look Now and a Roy Andersson film on. All in all, I think that Film4 are one of the better channels for film watchers. There's usually a decent (albeit strange) mix on it.
