Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mira Shower Runs Hot all the time

Hi All, I had some tiling done recently and decided to get a new Mira "Select b" mixer shower fitted. Unfortunately when the water gets heated up by the boiler it runs scalding hot all the time - if I select hot or cold on the temperature control it doesn't matter it just runs hot.
When the water cools down a bit the water temperature seems to act in reverse order to what the temp control indicates - moving the knob left (indicating hot) gives colder water and moving the knob right (indicating cold) gives hotter water.

Any ideas what could be the issue here?

    Thanks in advance

Your plumber made a B***s of it! He has the cartridge in upside down.

You need to get him back. The cartridge has to be turned (you may need to take tiles off for this). Or if easier he needs to swap the hot & cold pipes. This may be done in the attic, hotpress, under bath etc. It depends on the layout of your house / plumbing.

Very easy to fix if shower is backing on to hotpress
