Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Strong Cork accent....

Would you rather loose your sight or your hearing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

Can't stand is putting it too strongly, but nova scotia is bizzare to listen to. It's like a makey upy accent, half Kerry, half California. Very strange.

Are you any good at doing accents?

    No, I'm terrible.

When you're telling a story do you change your voice for the different people? Eg
"So then he said *deeper voice* .... "

No but I tend to put waaaaay too much detail into my stories and sometimes I get over animated.

    How do you express anger?

My dad had a farm and two summers ago I was sitting on a bale lifter on the back of a tractor as my brother joyrided through a field full of lumps and bumps. Well, he hit this one spot where there was a dip, I'm holding on for dear life, but the jolt knocked the bolt that was holding the lifter out, so my right foot gets trapped under this http://tinypic.com/r/24dnatg/8, and my brother keeps driving on a little so my foot gets pulled underneath as it didn't come clean off.
Three bones broken, a dislocation and a seriously disfigured looking leg.
