Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    no...I didn't!!!

did you ever feel sorry for work experience teachers who had to face into trying to control a class of unruly gowlers?

Yes, there was one in particular that got a awful grief.

Given the abuse you've seen teachers get were you ever surprised by some of your peers choosing it as a career?

I'd say they are resigned to accepting the unwritten behavioural rules of society.

Anyone you thought was a prick at school but turned out alright when you met them after?

Yes, but there are many people for everyone.

Take Ireland, Is it a coincidence that most Irish people find their true love in Ireland? Of all the places in all the world and all of the people my true love, the only person for me was born five miles down the road?

Yes I would but only to someone who can not only put up with my quirks but love me for them too. :)

What was the most embarassing thing to happen to you?

Loads! I fell asleep drunk on a first date. I took too many Xanax on a flight once and started hallucinating and woke up in a panic only to fling a girls can of coke all over her. And at a circus a clown tried shake my hand and made me cry in front of everyone.

    Are you cringing for me?

Yes. "RPG" stands for Role-Playing Game ("Dungeons and Dragons" sort of things) and also Report Program Generator, a Biblically terrible mainframe/mini programming language from the Bad Old Days designed, like CoBOL, for accountants and similar mental defectives.

Have you done your Christmas shopping yet?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yes, kind of. Have all the main shopping done, just want to pick up little bits between now and Christmas.

I could be here all day. Booked a few spontaneous trips for my bf, got photos printed for him and framed and left on his bed side locker to cheer him up. They are examples on the lower end of my soppy scale.

When was the last time you puked?

Just now after reading about your soppiness.
I don't remember. Been a while. I'm probably due a projectile vomit sometime soon.

    Have you ever feigned illness?

Did they give prizes out at your school to people who had never missed a day?
