Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A greek stracciatella yoghurt. That's a yoghurt with bits of chocolate to the layman.

Why does chocolate yoghurt always taste a bit sour?

Yes, of course, but they need to be Superquinn sausages

Will I paint the spare room white, or a very light peach?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

White is too harsh, like an art gallery for my liking.

Do you not think superquinn sausages are hugely over rated? They aren't horrible or anything, but they certainly aren't anything special!

The best sausages in the known Universe are Hodgin's Butcher's sausages and most everything else seems over-rated by comparison.

Where do you stand on the matter of black pudding?

Only vampires should eat foods made from blood!

Do you like "raw" white pudding. Yum yum:D

I'm not the biggest fan of white pudding, and I'd give either some sniff of a pan. This weather, Oi aaarr mostly liking Shaw's, Staunton's and de Róiste black pudden. I never really rated Clonakilty, although it has improved in recent years, and I expect to be duly ridden out of Cork on a rail any day now due to this particular heresy. :pac:

Would you ate a huuuge trucker's breakfast, if you got it?

Do you make a point of checking the weather forecast?

Who would play you in a film about your life?

I wouldn't go to see it anyway.

Do you smile and shake your head at Star Wars freaks?

No, I like Star Wars but a normal amount, not a Comic Con amount. It must be nice to have an interest that you are so into. I am delightfully apathetic.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or interests?

By interesting you probably mean unusual or niche interests og which I have none.

Do you find comedy panel shows like 'the week' and the like to be nothing other than a bunch of back slapping comediens forcing themselves to laugh at their own bad jokes?

Some of my secondary school teachers used to say I was.

Do you ever feel sorry for them when almost 20 years on you see them teaching the same old shít in the same old place?

Did you have a favourite subject

Geography & History were probably my favourite subjects in school.

did you have that 1 crazy mental teacher who you admired because
    a) he was mental and used to go off on some serious crazy episodes
and b) because he generally left you alone as you were sort of middle of the road, and simply just spectated the madness when it all went off.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

My art teacher was my favourite. I was a bit ditzy, (not stupid but just very laid back) and he never saw that as a flaw. I used to be behind with all my projects, and he'd collect everyone else's homework but never bothered me for mine. I assumed he wasn't wasting his breath but he told my mom at a parent teacher meeting that there was no point in fighting with me, because he knew I'd have the work in eventually, and that fighting with me just meant I'd do even less. He also told her my best friend in art class "minded" me, even turning the page in the book for me. I think he must have been like me, because he was very laid back too. I loved him, he was a legend.

Did you ever go on school trips

Not really, I was too shy and afraid of being left on my own. Wish I had though!

I'd go to one or two but that's it. I like to get settled.

Is it all about who you are with or where you are?
