Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Fashionably late or an asshole?

  • Registered Users Posts: 972 ✭✭✭MultiUmm

Fashionably late? I presume what was being asked is if being late is acceptable or if it makes you an asshole.. if it's for a party it's better to be a little late, it's just awkward to arrive really early if you're not family/ close friends.

If you were stranded on an uninhabited island with no way of making contact with the outside world, would you rather have a loyal dog as your companion or an intelligent but untrustworthy person?

There are ads on tv for products like gillete razors and it's always the most comfortable and closest shave ever. Year after year they make this claim so does that mean at first they were really really poor products or are they just taking the piss?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,837 ✭✭✭intellectual dosser

I think they're continuously improving their products to exceed themselves every time.

When a member of the opposite sex (usually one you want to hook up with) declares you to be "just a friend", thereby ruining all potential chances of sex.

Long hazy summer days following my dad around taking in small square bales of hay. I remember him making me a miniature pitchfork to stop me liberating his. I am very grateful for the relationship I built with him through days spent working on the farm.

I always think of it on long warm summer days.

Do you get on well with your parents?
