Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is Ireland a shi*hole..

Absolutely not - take a look at the world around you. Just by even being born or living in Ireland you are better off than at least 60 - 70% of the entire worlds population. Somalia is a shít hole. Ireland is grand.

What is it all about eh? This whole existence thing.

Learning to overcome the difficulties in life that make us reach for easy but ultimately bad solutions that make us unhappy and instead to reach for and share true happiness with the people around us.

If you were walking into a pub that was upstairs and you saw someone falling down the steps blotto, would you still go in after he'd left?

Yes, some poor fúckers misfortune has no bearing on my desire for a delicious refreshing cold beverage.

Which is more important, enjoying the journey or reaching the destination?

Have you had a holiday this Summer?

What would you order in Starbucks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

Most likely nothing, any time I pass a starbucks there is a que, no thanks - every convenience shop, garage, fast food place etc sells coffee, should I want one, i'll get one without standing in line.

So starbucks, why do people stand in line for coffee?
