Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has your handwriting gone to the dogs since the rise of keyboards and touch screens?

On the rare occasion that I have to use a pen and paper, it looks like a 7 year old has been scribbling. I used to have neat writing in school.

    Do you still use cheques?

Have you ever been on a high trailer full of hay bales?

Yes, many times as a kid. How we didn't get killed is beyond me. Would not do it now or allow my kids to do it though.

What was the most dangerous/stupidest thing you did as a kid?

    Ever break a bone?

Never had a broken bone but managed to fracture my collar bone when I fell of a bike at age 14.

What's the longest relationship you ever had besides your current partner or spouse.

Have you ever been punched in the face?

Not by a person. Often get walloped in the face though by random objects in my hand that I find myself idly throwing up in the air and catching and sometimes I don't catch them. :o

Usually when I run out of wine. So very irregularly.

If I drink 1 or 2 glasses of wine every night, does it mean I am an alcoholic?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭man98

According to the HSE, more than 17 glasses a week is alcoholism.
Will I give ye a link to alcoholics anon. anyway?

I know the test you are talking about.... Drinking a few litres of water mixed with that powder. Yes it's torture. However, it gives you a really good clean out and you will feel the benefits.

Anaesthesia or not for the test tomorrow? I recommend to grin and bear it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Good heavy covering. I was in hospital in march and had about 5 blankets on my bed. The nurse joked about me being the coldest creature she ever met.

I was in las vegas with my brother 7-8 years ago.
We ordered a whole pork rump and what came out can only be described as the entire back half of the bloody pig.
Monstrous amout of meat. Amazing though, worth every penny, and we finished it.

What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
