Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes, I'm quite punctual for leaving on time and getting there on time.
I can get a bit narky when others don't meet my high standards of time keeping.

What's the swear word you use most often?

Is 'bastard' one? I don't use it as an insult, and I don't really like all the traditional curses.

When in doubt just saying 'fcuking' before and it becomes a bonafide swear word.

Is there anyone on boards who you would like to meet?

I've met a few people from boards already but yeah, there are a few people that seem like good craic and I wouldn't mind meeting them.

Who will win the All Ireland (football) this year?

    Donegal.

What is the biggest bet you have won?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

Biggest bet was just under a grand, on a football accumulator.

    Are you a gambler?

I have a strong predisposition to gambling, therefore I stay clear of any gambling possibilities unless I am feeling manic, then I start playing slots and poker.

What's the tallest building you have been at the top of?

Yes, I couldn't get a flight home a few years ago because of the bad weather.

If someone puts their seat back on a plane do you:

    a) bring it to their attention politely
    b) put up with it and say nothing
    c) hit the back of the seat as much as possible making it look accidental just to annoy the other person
    d) go mental and scream bloody murder and get your flight diverted

Who would you like to see running the country, dead, alive, irish non irish etc??

Bill Gates. For someone who was once basically held up as satan incarnate, he's done more good for the world as a whole than practically anyone in history.

    Do you have any heroes?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭man98

Of course I do. I have an 8x10 poster of Mick Wallace on my wall (jokes).
Who did you think is the biggest flute in the Dáil?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,781 ✭✭✭clappyhappy

The aforementioned mick Wallace and previously mr Bertie and Lowry.

    No

Do you realistically think that 16 and 17 years olds would be bothered voting?

Nope because they are not educated enough to know much about current affairs and like you said, wouldn't be bothered.

Would you like to see a Socialist state in Ireland?

A nice state, which Labour and Irish Communist Party are power sharing in. On a further note about the voting age, 16/17 year olds not bothered voting isn't a problem, it does no harm to the electorate.

I haven't a clue about movies. Rocky, there was plenty of action in that.

    Staying alive.

3 or 4 minutes after leaving for work you realise you've left your lunch on the kitchen table. Going back will mean you get to work 10 minutes late.
Do you go back or go to work on time and sort something out there for lunch?
