IPSO has launched a smartphone app which allows users generate a BIC / IBAN from an NSC and Account number. To download the app to your smartphone please use this link http://www.ipso.ie/section/GetMyIBANWebApp The service will always return a valid BIC / IBAN provided that the account is reachable for SEPA

Technically not a mobile app, simply a website that you can bookmark. If it was a true app it wouldn't have taken almost 30 seconds to convert my sort code and account number!
