What site are you using to fill out your details. The official one?

same happened for me when I try to put in my details
Don't think they know Irelands post codes
try contact support , they should be able to put it in for you and over ride the system saying its invalid

Try entering EIRE or DEFAULT as a post code. It works on most electronic forms.

I went through support and they sorted it out. Now the real challenge is finding a box to put it in!

When I sent back my 360 a few years ago for repair
They sent me out a box to
Put it in, I'm sure it's the same with the one.

This no longer happens. He will have to source his own box.

    well to be fair
    its a box
go to lidl or aldi ask for one, they will happily give you one as they try to get rid of them everyday
its how most kids collect stuff for bonfires nowadays

They also do an AppleCare style replacement service if you don't mind getting a different console.

Got an Xbox One with a broken disc drive last week and the store had no stock to replace it. Called MS on Monday and got a replacement console on Thursday, you then hand the broken console to the UPS deliveryman in the packaging that the replacement comes in with the included return shipping label.

You need a credit/debit card though for this service as MS put a €430 hold on your card that will be deducted if the broken console is not returned within 14 days.
