I'm not going to argue with someone who thinks that whey isn't real food and who's only weapon is selectively quoting from the mayo clinics website, you didn't even try to deal with a single point I made.

Whey is a by product of cheese production. Whey protien powder is made from this by extracting all of the other nutrients and then put in a big plastic tub and sold at hugely marked up prices.

I prefer to get my protein from proper food along with vitamins and minerals and fat and flavour.

That's a popular Turkish newspaper. Not that though, a bit too bland.

Oh ffs there's always someone around waiting to turn a thread into a snorefest.
Nobody cares about whey or protein or whatever. Go over to the Fitness for that!

Steak, mushrooms, onions, carrots, broccoli, creamed potatoes and gravy, followed by home-made apple tart - just because I had the house to myself all day and I got bored/ felt like being nice to the hungry horde when they got home.

Three sausages and two pieces of white pudding on country sliced bread with some Flora and a squirt of garlic mayo. Nothing too heavy as the weather's too hot for it.

Breakfast: 3 sausages, 2 rashers, fried egg, 1 slice of brown bread (which I discovered afterwards was mouldy :(), cup of tea, glass of orange juice (which boyfriend sieved for me as it had pulp...isn't he sweet?)

Lunch: Nothing, just a cup of tea

    Dinner; Spaghetti Bolognese

Will have some red wine and nuts later.

4 pages of people on some combination of the skinnyfat diet or the just plain fat diet are a snorefest, I contributed something different, then explained myself when called out. Sorry if it bored you but why would I pretend I'd eaten something else?

Sea Bream with an onion fondue, pan fried greens and a side of new potatoes.

All came from this recipe. http://www.independent.ie/incoming/michelinstarred-chef-glynn-purnell-shares-his-recipes-30390099.html

Laid off on all the creme fraiche. Excellent grub.

Why are you quoting my contributions to a thread titled "What Did You Eat Today?"
That thread is FOR that very discussion. THIS thread is what's for dinner and it's turned into what's good for you and what's not.
    THAT'S what's boring.

And I didn't ask you to comment on what I eat and what I don't!!!

Nobody commented on what you ate until you started making judgmental comments on other peoples contributions. The thread is not what is/isn't good for you it's what are you having for dinner. If you want to spin that around to try and insist that everyone acknowledge how much better than them you are then you are perfectly entitled to do so, but don't be surprised when people don't respond well to it. I honestly have no idea what you expected, what did you actually hope to achieve by saying people in this thread make you sick?

Heinz Salad Cream and a slice of bread, or a can of beans direct from the can Hobo-style - the pauper's choice before shopping the next day.

Oh, yum! Haven't made falafel for ages, I'll make some this week - only without the chips. Just with tons of salad, houmous, pita, tsatsiki :)

I'm beginning to think it's made up, anytime I see anyone ask what it is it's just met with an incredulous "how could you not know what that is!".

We use them all the time. It's like an SFP fiber-optic tranceiver, only for a Dickfer.

I made a Quorn chilli with added shallots and mushrooms, by made I mean I added a jar of Old El Paso, it was lovely with some brown rice. I had a very naughty Crunchy blast with popping candy ice cream for dessert, don't usually have dessert.

Bacon and cabbage with new potatoes. I'd never get sick of it.

The bacon was grand and salty and the new spuds with real butter is the job especially after a day in the bog.
