    Hi Lads,

I've moved to the area recently and I am looking to join a soccer team for the upcoming season. I am living near the tower hotel but I drive. Looking for a b team, anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you mean by a 'b' team. The Waterford Junior League is organised into a Premier League, 1A,1B, 2A, 2B, 3 & 4. Lots of clubs near you would have teams in a couple of these leagues but they wouldn't be referred to a 'b' or 'c' teams. There is an excellent website covering the league here:

    http://wjl.leaguerepublic.com/l/league/199277659.html

Do a bit of research on this site and for contacts to the clubs they will have their own websites or facebook pages. eg the two nearest clubs to you would be Bohs and Villa. Not too far way you'd have Hibernians and DLS. Other town teams are Southend, St Saviours, St Pauls, St Josephs.

    Bohs website: www.waterfordbohs.com
    Villa facebook: https://www.facebook.com/THEVILLAFC

As an indication, the Premier League would be a serious level of football down to divisions 3 & 4 which would be 'social' clubs. The others sit in between, with a decent level of football and training attendance generally required.
Obviously the season is closed now but pre-season will be starting soon, probably at the beginning of August for most clubs.

It's a great way to meet people and keep fit. Enjoy!
