Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ramires on to give brazil a bit more flair in midfield

Luiz was covering, I think a yellow is fair there.
In the lead up, Maicon gave the ball away stupidly, I can't really see why Alves was replaced, Maicon's touch has been woeful all game.

Doesn't matter if the defender could potentially cover, the attacker had knocked it past the keeper and had exactly the same chance of reach it as the defender had the keeper not interfered with his run. That's denial of a goal scoring opportunity by definition.

Balls of steel on the young lad, first player since Ronaldo in '02 to score 6+ goals in a WC.

Yeah i hear what your saying and the booing by the locals earlier for France v Germany makes it all the more hypocritical. I suppose though for r a fan and watching the game in real time in a packed stadium there is a chance that they majority will be biased and in particular when there is an overwhelming amount of them

While I can appreciate the pressure in the stadium felt by the fans surely they can't just erase The memory of decades of creative flair and resort to booing teams in a different game, past brazil teams feared very few others.

The hatred for brazil on here is bewildering. For me the World Cup loses a lot of interest and excitement once the host nation goes out.

Yeah I was gutted when Japan failed to make the finals in 2002 :P ah yeah good point but Colombia have been better to watch in my eyes, don't care who wins tbh but I'd love extra time and penos!

Not in this case. Germany are the last hope. If they get to the final Brazil will win by fair or foul means.

They wont care if they are shíte as long as they win it. Football is a results game these days. And as i type, another scandalous decision by the b@stard ref. A disgrace!
