Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have found this too be a poor match.

Lack of urgency in the Belgium side as if they don't want to win.

Even if Argies win it hasn't been a convincing display

True, true, but one was considered the talisman for his country.

Whatever way Wilmots uses Hazard, he never performs to the same level s he has for Chelsea.

De Bruyne is their most important player IMO.

Sideshow Bob has really outdone himself today.

I've been impressed by Basanta today.

Would keep him in the side if they get to the Semi's.

You could say the same for the other two semi finalists. Netherlands haven't been much better.

Defending is so easy these days. Stand near opposition player. When the ball comes in fall over. Free out.

    "Agriculturally"

    What?

So Belgium are resorting to Wimbledon-ball.

Really hope they don't sneak an equaliser.

You can forget the free scoring flow of the group stages. This is how it's going to be right through to the final itself.

One of these ugly long balls might actually come off

Havint watched much of World Cup because of this type of crap. He went down like a sack of potatoes and when no one was watching he makes it more spectacular by thrashing around and rolling like a girl.
    It's disgraceful

Have the Belgium's have had a single clear cut chance this game?

How can they decide it's 5 mins injury time when perez was still down? It tool another 20 or 30 seconds to restart the game.

So Zab fouls his own team mate and they get possession? Wtf?

If you haven't watched much of the world cup then it's hard to take your comment seriously.

There has been lots more great and positive play that has far outnumbered the negative stuff.

Belgium have been sh!te. Like watching Ireland

    Demichelis is my MOTM.

Hopefully Wilmots is sacked or steps down after this, and Belgium produce a couple of actual full backs by 2016.

Belgium to score two in injury time to get the result I want and avoid axtra time clashing with the Galway hurling match.

Wonder what he would do with that fuzzy head in the box?

Except they have better players than we do so they really have no excuses for playing so badly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,319 ✭✭✭Al_Coholic

Lukaku has to do better there too

Poor by Messi. Hit it straight at Courtois.
    Should be 2-0.

Belgians just panicking in front of goal. No composure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,101 ✭✭✭Antibac

Wilmots has a touch of Roddy Collins about him

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 18,184 ✭✭✭✭Lapin

FFS that should have been in.

Dunphy called the wrong team a bunch of headless chickens.

Seems to have followed pretty much the same template as Germany-France. Well done to Argentina.

Is was pretty easy for Argentina there.

Belgium were crap in most of the same ways France were yesterday.

Lack of urgency, pace and aggression.
