    Obviously I know that Tankardstown is not near to the city.

    Believe it or not....... it was just a suggestion.

    The village at lyons is great, you certainly won't go away hungry and the whole place looks amazing. Easy to park at too.

    Clontarf Castle in their Knights Bar, 25e for 2 for afternoon tea. Must be booked 24 hours in advance.

    A lovely spread of sandwiches, dessert selection and scone, with regular tea\coffee.

    Handy if you're planning to drive, as there's parking in the hotel grounds.
