PTSB account balance and available balance

Regarding PTSB current account, which figure should I rely on the account balance or available balance. There had been a lot of debit card use in the past week. Many of the transactions are not yet listed in the online statement.
I have a large payment due out next week.
If I operate from the available balance there are sufficient funds.
If the account balance is the correct one, I need to make a lodgement to meet the payment next week.

Available balance is what you have left to spend/use
Actual balance does not reflect some of your recent transactions.

If these is an overdraft facility on the account, an I correct in thinking that it is reflected in the available balance, but not in the actual balance?
