Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As in title, wife dropped her phone today and I want to buy the parts on ebay or the like and fix it my self.

How much do the parts cost? Was screen only broken and she still can use it but it's all cracked.

Fixed a Samsung phone was Europa model I think so I have some experience.

Also what parts should I be looking for?

If you want to know how to replace the home button you could watch the video posted above, here's one that actually talks about replacing the screen (loads more on YouTube):
    http://youtu.be/oBpFPfx5aBw
If you're happy to do it yourself you could get this: http://www.syncron.ie/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=LCDi4
    Includes required tools.
I wouldn't bother though, it's still quite a job and you can probably get it replaced for less than €50 in a local phone shop (or the one in the link).
If you are going to do it yourself make sure you order the right part(s); as in correct colour and type (4? 4S?).

It's just the 4. Looks like I could do it, very much like the Samsung I did before but looks like a lot more screws on the iphone. But if I can get it done for 50€ or abouts I would let them do it.

€50 should be max, collegue told me today got her iPhone 4 screen fixed for €30 (somewhere in swords, don't know shop).
