Kayak hire

With a minimum of over 50k of kayaking in the Beast of Ballyhoura this year team triharder REALLY REALLY needs to tri practising their collective kayaking skills over the next couple of weekends.

Does anyone know where would be the best place to hire kayaks for the day? Ideally if we could get somewhere with good tough MTB nearby that would be ideal.

UL are aparently planning an AR focused training day.

Brian Kehoe / Total Experience do as well. He has similar sit-on-tops to those Ivan will be using for the Beast or proper sea kayaks.

There's a weekly session that a good few other adventure racers frequent over the summer.

This looks like there is a session going ahead this weekend and may be of interest to anyone doing AR's this summer. I'll get some more information and post up.
