Best new Gadget direct from US?

A friend of mine is going to US for a holiday. What would be the best for him to get me in terms of new gadgets that are in the US only or at such a cost over here that it would make sense. Have an iPad, a tablet and use all gadgets.

laptops are a lot cheaper in the us. if you are in the market for a new one, that's what to go for.
