Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In need of a fuel tank for a Yamaha RX100. Any ideas where i could locate one or would a tank from another model fit it. Where is the best place to source spare parts apart from ebay. This is my first motorbike to renovate so new to all of this. Any advice appreciated (apart from the advice to just scrap it!!)

Ah the Yamaha RX100 - it was an amazing bike back in it's day. Any photos of your restoration work?

RX-S100 was very popular when I was starting out, but I didn't fancy the drum brakes. Got a GP100 with a disc brake. It hardly mattered as neither was a ball of fire

There was an oddball RX-S135, which needed a full licence but nobody with a full licence would want to ride. 10cc too big to be learner legal at the time.

Third party only insurance on the GP100 in my first year, age 23, was one thousand pounds  absolutely insane, you'd have to wonder how biking survived in this country at all. To this day it puts me off doing any business of any type with Aviva (successor of Norwich Screwnion.)

    Scrap the cap!
