I'd say it's more likely Kelly just told him instead of being asked. He's a hazard of a ref

I'm not a fan of him as a ref but I think at least he was right in taking the time to make the correct call there.

EDIT: You're probably right, could have just been asking for the number.

Jack Brown pulls him down. A clear free and a definite yellow in my book. Ref blows and sees he's booked him already and thinks "f3ck I can't send another one off". Waits a moment or two, Kelly calls him over and says "You have to send him off Johnny", Johnny walks back still thinking "Jesus I can't. Ah f3ck it I will!".

The second yellow was the right call. The two sending offs were both fair decisions but apart from that he has not had a good game, very inconsistent in what he is calling for.
