Madden 25 Cup - Interest?

    With the playoffs underway now and the Boards franchise coming to a close in a few weeks, would anyone have interest in participating in a cup competition to bring Madden 25 to a close?

    I understand it's been a long slog now with nearly 12 months on the clock for this game so the interest may not be there, but it may especially interest those who haven't made the playoffs this year but want to keep playing competitive games or those that simply want more games but want to get the chance to use a different team etc.

    I set one up at almost this exact time last year which was a bit of craic and wound down Madden 13 nicely. Here's the thread from that. If we got it going again I would aim to use the same format as last year, that is - each round being a best of 3, so every player is guaranteed at least 2 games and a random draw for a very quick draft on team selection.

    We'd need 8 players to make it worthwhile. Once we get the 8 (or even more would be great) I'll create the bracket via Challonge.com again (which also generates an order for the draft) and whoever is drawn against each other can arrange to play their games when suits. There's no real hurry especially as the playoffs are still ongoing and there's a while to go until Madden 15.

    Quite surprised at the amount of interest, that's 8 we have already. :)

    I'll leave it open until Friday night as by then I presume everyone who is around and wanting to play will have seen the thread and we'll go from there.

    If we could get up to 16 it would be perfect and ensure we'd have no byes. It's probably pushing it trying to get 4 more at this stage, but is anyone else interested?
