Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't think I've ever seen khedira have such a good game in midfield, brilliant stuff from him.

I think the Luiz debate has been put to bed by the first half highlights :pac:

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

He was pulling the strings from the outset, fantastic performance

Brazil's halftime team talk might go something like this!

More like this I would have thought:-

After all the BS of the last couple of weeks culminating in the pathetic Neymar shirt during their national anthem, there can be only one way to describe that scoreline:

    Schadenfreude 5 - Brazil 0

Joke of a ref, 2 yellows should of been given so far.

Croke Park Residents have apparently put an appeal into the high court to have Germany's score reduced to 3.

Would be even more beautiful if Neymar was playing tonight

    Fair enough.
Would like to see Messi magic vs German organisation.
I think it would be an interesting contest.

Wasn't all that interesting last season in the CL to be fair

If Luiz is worth 50m surely I can convince PSG to pay at least 10m for me. :D

Hopeless footballer apart from his free kicks. Reminds me of Ian Harte.

Getting really annoyed with the BBC, all they do is lick the derriere of Brazil, no real mention if the previous Brazil performance, except for a few quick qwords at the beginning of the match. Cursory at best.

Anybody delighted to see Brazil get hammered has a problem unless they are German or a rival South American country.

I hate to see any country getting thumped in a competitive game, these men are representing their nation. It's a bit different to club football.

now is the time for brazil to walk off the pitch in protest of the millions of tax payers money wasted on the world cup

According to paddy powers Twitter feed they took one bet today on Germany to be leading at halftime by 5-0 @500/1. Didn't say how much the stake was.

I don't know where you have been, but this is the most cynical, despicable and down right awnry team every to come out of Brazil. This is supposed to the team that is the exponent of the beautiful game, yet all they have done is drag it down to a kick your opponent and hoof the ball up the pitch team.

If they had played like the Brazil we all love to see, no one here would be reveling in this delightful display of irony.

That team has forty five minutes to save itself and their fans, if nothing else.
