Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Crazy considering some of the places that have held the WC that the biggest tanking of a host nation will be this one.

David Luiz out on the left wing.

He just doesn't give a fúck.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Brazillian red card before the end.

Is Fred related to scolari or something. Why won't he just take him off.

Germany aren't playing a match any more, they've started a practice session ahead of the final ...

Death has this much to be said for it:
You don’t have to get out of bed for it.
    Wherever you happen to be
    They bring it to you—free.

Thought this game might be Klose but Brazil are being Mullered. Like Lahms to the slaughter. Germany in Kroos control. Has Dante passed his peak?

It has to be the most lenient card shy WC in history.

After 4-0 I thought a red card was inevitable for Brazil(luiz) and 5/2 looked like great odds.

So have the Brazilian FA arranged a plane out of the country for the team?

If I were a Brazilian player I wouldnt be changing our of my gear at full-time, i'd be legging it out of the stadium and into a waiting car driven by a relative to get either to the airport or across the border at least.

They've another game on Saturday! Wonder how that'll go.

Are the Brazil fans sarcastically cheering Germany?

Brazil aren't even passionate enough to pick up a few cards. They waved the white flag long ago in this game.

No doubt Luiz, Alves etc will make sure their grief is captured on camera at the end of the match. Why let the loss get in the way of a good photo op

If I was a german in that stadium right now I'd consider losing the shirt an shnakin out the back to avoid unpleasantness

I hope the Germans stick together, something tells me the Costa Rican stabbings won't be the last we hear of. Absolutely disgusting from the Brazilians every European team has been booed and I hope Germany goes on to win now, although I'd still love to see Netherlands get their 1st but after tonight the Germans deserve it. If I was a German fan I'd be worried about personal safety now.

Why are people getting uppity about the Brazilian fans? Its an unprecedented event in their history, of course they're going to give stick to somebody after it. Nothing can be well thought out in such passionate circumstances either. The fans are the very least of Brazils worries.

Brazil's only hope now is for Bruce Willis to come stumbling out of the tunnel, bloody bare feet and all, machine gun in hand, shouting "HHHAAAAAAANNNNNNSSSSS!"

11 random lads off the street will be playing.

I have flashbacks to an U12s game we had where we had to go careering around a couple of estates in the back of a car, ringing doorbells trying to round up random punters for a cup game. I expect this will be how Brazil's team is selected for the Saturday game.
