I think they had them on special offer just before Christmas so stock could have been low.

Have you had a look on Amazon and Smyths.co.uk?

Yeah Argos had them for €250 a while back but not sure if they stock them anymore.

That sounds a good price. Is it worth getting?

Xbox One Elite Controller €76 from Argos.

Buy it for €124.99 choosing Dead Rising 4 as your free game in Special Offers section. Sell Dead Rising to CeX for €49 cash. Elite for €76, not bad.

    https://ie.webuy.com/product.php?sku=889842148619#.WF_AnxuLTIU

Dead Rising 4 is back in stock in Argos but CEX will only give you €43 for it now so the Elite Controller will cost €82.

Great value and I'm tempted again :)

You have to love the 'Please note item 6079633 has previously been on sale at €32.99' for dead rising. :o

Did anyone in the country get it in Argos for that price??

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Funny how it was no longer on offer the minute it was back in stock :(

Nope was out of stock and couldn't be reserved. Copies miraculously materialised the second it went back up in price.

There are a few free, micro transaction based games. Smite, world of tanks and I think, warframe. Open for correction.

Whyd you go with Ghosts? Most people think it's on of the worst CODs ever.

I bought it on release when I still played COD. It's multiplayer is fairly poor.

If anyone likes Doom Argos are selling it for €19. Picked it up yesterday. Have to still download the 38gig patch "going to take some time on a 3 meg line"

I went ahead and got it yesterday with Gears 4 since I already have Forza and wasn't really bothered getting another one to trade in for €20. Love the controller but Gears is still in it's packaging where it'll remain for a while. Just my luck that the one I wanted would come right back in stock the next day!

I think Infinite Warfare is actually one of the better COD campaigns in recent years, I didn't like Ghosts but thought Advanced Warfare was pretty OK.
