Impossible to predict anything specific but chances are they will offer that and the Halo bundle at some point before Christmas. Whether something better comes along is anybody's guess.

The current deal is pretty amazing if you are actually looking for Fifa, Forza and two controllers. Make sure to get the newest controller. Not mentioned previously is that it also includes a month of EA Access. That includes 14 free games to download and 10 hour trials of the newest games including Star Wars Battlefront.

I'm torn on whether to wait or buy now. My main focus is to get the overall cost of buying the console down. Only really interested in Destiny for the time being - don't have the time for more than one game at a time.

I have the €399 X1 + FIFA + Forza + extra controller reserved in Argos til tomorrow.

I'm thinking buy that then sell the controller and Forza in CEX for €31 and €42 (€73) and then sell the FIFA code on adverts for maybe €35.

That would take the total cost to €291 for an X1 500GB with updated controller (€399 - €108).

Any suggestions/permutations which work better than that? Am all ears!

Do you actually prefer using your card over paypal? I'd always prefer paypal myself, once your card is linked and it's all ready to go it's handiest way imo.

You can disable their currency converter which I do as you're right it is terrible. It's stupid tho how it auto chooses to use your PayPal credit alright when you don't want to. No problem, great game and online to come still!
