Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just buy US Gift cards off Amazon or G2a(if it's ever in stock) and change region to US on the XB1 dashboard.
    It's a lot cheaper and it's digital.

Yeah, I've heard about that but I just don't want to risk it because it is against the ToS. I know they probably won't do anything but I'm still not comfortable does that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Will there be a Halo Collection bundle?

    Can't see anything definitive online.

No hard bundles. Game and Amazon were doing their own bundles with Halo and Destiny last month, don't think either are still on offer.

Where in gods name is the Xbox One MCC bundle?! I refuse to purchase an Xbox One until this is available! I bought the Xbox for Halo 1, the Xbox 360 for Halo 3!

Considering that Halo is the flagship game for the console since day 1 you'd think they'd be making more noise about this....

Have to say it's a surprise that there's no official bundle. I got it slightly earlier than planned but the Masterchief Collection and the promise of Halo 5 was one of the things that tipped me over the edge and made me go for the Xbox One over the PS4. There's no doubt it's a system seller.

Reckon halo 5 will get a bundle rather than MCC.

Amazon have console and MCC (physical copy) for £349

Also have a nice "Alien Mega Pack", console plus Alien: Isolation and Alien Anthology Blu-Ray (4 disc set) for the same price!

Handy for the folks who missed it last time around

I bought it. It's very similar to Splinter Cell but more open. I've played other Metal Gear Solid games but this is the first one I've really enjoyed. It's worth €15 but not €30.

Keep an eye on Adverts.ie got one myself yesterday along with Wolfenstein for €65. I'd get one as soon as you can thought as to be honest I think the price is going to shoot up soon as Microsoft start selling them standalone for €150.

Guys if I pre-order evil within from the US store will I be able to play it by changing my region back to ireland at 12:01 or will I have to wait for the US to catch up in the morning?

You have to wait until U.S time. I'd recommend doing it on the Singapore marketplace so you can play it 5pm the day before and get it for the same price as U.S store.

For people using multiple stores at the same time, do you use the same credit card and have it with multiple addresses or do you use multiple cards? I only have one credit card, my debit card didn't work when I tried to put it in as an Indian card and I can't really be arsed to keep adding and taking away my credit card from various wallets.

I'm hoping Argos will have some good deals with Halo.
The Fifa bundle deal was great with an extra controller and play/charge kit for 300e.

I wonder will there be an official price drop in the Spring...

If you need a play and charge kit (like I do) it works out cheaper to go with amazon as the kit is €25 on there, €60 for both on amazon.

Worth keeping an eye on Argos. They consistently have the best deals and bundles although I haven't seen anything to top their Xbox One, Destiny and Titanfall bundle for €379 - now expired.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,758 ✭✭✭✭TeddyTedson

Sorry that was a typo. Yep 399e.

The Fifa deal was great too considering the price of controllers is unlikely to drop much (except that littlewoods deal on now) whereas you can pick up Titanfall quite cheap. I'd say Destiny is going for around the 30e mark now too.

Can some one fill me in on buying off the New Zealand market to get COD AW 12 hours early on top of the day zero pre order bonus? I've bought of the us store before but i had to wait 8hrs later to get Destiny. Don't mind paying a bit extra to get the game 20 hours earlier.

I pre-ordered from the Singapore marketplace. Get the game 5pm Sunday the 2nd and it was cheaper than the u.s market. NZ market is expensive enough I think.

I read somewhere that it is an introductory price that is only valid until tomorrow, haven't been able to verify that though, but the price would be right for a 75% reduction of a €14.99 game.

I bought it anyway, it cleaned up very well actually.
