Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The way Mascherano stumbled around there...
    Doesn't look good.

    Wrong call there.

I know this might have been said before, but it was a very strange decision for Sabelle to omit Javier Pastore. Argentina's link up play in the final third has been mediocre enough in this tournament, and Pastore could have been the playmaker they are crying out for.

Messi is playing the role behind Higuain, but it doesn't seem to suited to him and Argentina could have got more out of him, though he has played well so far.

Last night's game was terrible, over as a contest after 25 minutes. This game is really enjoyable. Even contest with some nice football.

If last night was the first time someone watch a game of soccer they'd be wondering what the fcuk is going on tonight.

The game needs a goal to break the deadlock.

Was a dislikable player at Arsenal as well.

Just because he's not a prolific diver doesn't make him one of the most honest players in the game :pac:

He's comes across as being very arrogant and his move from Arsenal to United after they stood by him through a host of injuries showed a strong lack of loyalty.

To me, he comes across as only being out for himself.

8 years at Arsenal. Shocking disloyalty!

    Yeah, what a cnut.

I can't seem to find the point you're making here, probably because there is none whatsoever.

Van Persie is a class finisher but sometimes he doesn't offer much.

    Que a hatrick

Gotta sub van Persie, he's been dreadful.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,088 ✭✭✭Nib

Think if you asked him now he'd rather be lining up next to Ozil and Sanchez next season as opposed to Cleverley and Welbeck
Nah. I'm sure he'd rather line up with Mata and Rooney rather than Sanogo and Giroud.

    You serious?

Six years where he struggled badly on and off with injuries, but the club stood by him throughout, followed by 1 good season and one brilliant season and then he refused to sign a new contract so he could force a move to Arsenal's biggest rivals in search of trophies.

    Rooting for Argentina.

Didn't really like Krul's carry on in the quarters, plus I'm sick of hearing about Van Gaal's balls

Van Persie has had absolute minimal service.

In fairness 7 very average years, then 1 fantastic season and off he went. Not that I would begrudge him at all. He was coming to the end of his prime years, why shouldn't he have moved to win some medals.

    :D

Ya know what I mean though, it sometimes takes a goal to open the flood gates. Right now it's a good game but it's too cagey, much like the QFs were.

Yeah. It's pretty disgraceful that he saved those penalties.

I wish the commentators would pick how they're going to pronounce Mascherano's name. One says mash, the other is more like mask.

Coming from a Pastore (Palermo days) fan, he has been AWOL for 2 years and deservedly was never in line to be called up to the national team.

Pretty sure Spurs are Arsenal's biggest rivals.

Would you rather he moved for money? Would that make you love him?

Holland are using fierce negative tactics, hard for RVP or Robben to get in the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

How is Martins Indi not getting a yellow card for that foul, nowhere near the ball, only intention was to stop Messi.
