Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Id have good time for that Conor McLiam lad. He received the rough end of the stick with this country with the way his late wife was shabbily treated by the health system.

The Green Party promoted diesel cars through reduced taxation on VRT and motor tax when it has been proved they are more cancerous than petrol cars and have spiked cancer since 2008 in areas near congested roads.

Could you imagine Daithi giving a speech in the Dail.... He'd make Mick Wallace look like John F Kennedy...

In fairness, I don't think he is. He's obviously not well, and perhaps it's the medication that makes his speech slurred?

Comedy gold. How does vincent keep the laughter in?

Not sure if it is drunkedness or whether he has a mental deficiency. I sort of feel sorry for the poor guy tbh its embarrassing to witness and shame on those who encouraged him to run (assuming he was)

If I was in Carlow/Kilkenny I would vote for Daithi on the "he will annoy everyone up above in the dail" factor.

I don't think any of them were impressive enough to justify not voting for Daithi, to be honest.

Couldnt agree more, both of them love the sound of their own voices and their own self importance

Derek Davis will be missed from that show. He had that rare ability to listen and think before speaking. Most of the other panellists are just bombastic and tedious.

Just caught up on the end of this on +1 - who in the name of God was that Daithi fella?

I see about equal amounts of comments saying he's ill/medicated, or plastered. Anyone know which?

And whatever was the case, he clearly shouldn't have been on that stage!

Euwwwww, that hobbit fella reviewing the papers hacking up his lungs :eek::eek:
I love paper reviews, but between him and MLOD, I cannot do it.

I was out and missed tonight's show, so recording the repeat at 6am.

I have never been so uninspired with an election as with this one.

Bobby Aylward is the favourite, failed in the last election, part of a dynasty that needs to be broken, and I find him boring.
Had his brother Liam canvass me at the last election. Knew they were desperate as Aylwards are south Kilkenny, while my area would be John McGuinness territory.

He needs a haircut. Looks mad too with it hanging down at the sides and none on the top.
