Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vincent is getting more and more childish in his pathetic attempts at banter with the speakers.

Pointless us going back to the stone age with carbon taxes while the countries we import most products from don't give a damn how much carbon they emit.

This FG woman answering questions reminds me of Ronnie Corbett telling jokes.
They go on and on and on and at the end you forget what the start was about.

Her response to cronyism was very encouraging. It was basically, "Yeah, we do cronyism. What's the big deal?". I think she literally shrugged her shoulders as well.

Divided communities from those getting a nice slab of cash from the turbine going on their land to those no getting a cent.

Yeah. She actually skirted around it.

Poor Mr Dyson, every single idea he comes out with gets ripped off, most recently I see his Airblade hand dryer has cheap competition.

If the people want to change the system, they can vote for people to change the system.
    But they don't.

The state pension is not sustainable, the older population is getting too large, young population is too small so support them.

More talk of Lehmans collapse, only for their collapse the idiots here would have kept lending out the money at unsustainable levels digging an even bigger hole.

I think if Vinnie is going to take a few nights off, then Mick Clifford is the only one to replace him

LMFAO at this Sinn Vein telling him he's a moron for getting her name wrong.
She's right. He is a clown in many ways. Can't even learn their names.
    Fair play to her

Edit: I've changed my mind. She dodged the question

I can see Vinnie making bits of the SF candidate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

if this is the best that SF can offer, God help us if they get into government!

    Fergus "Mogadon" O' Dowd.
    God he's useless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,807 ✭✭✭take everything

    This is pointless.
I can feel my IQ dropping watching this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 49,731 ✭✭✭✭coolhull

If this lady is the best Sinn Fein can put forward, they can roll up their tents and leave now

Mind you, Fergus and the F.F fella are no better

Any political party who promises increases in taxation isn't going to do very well. In general elections, people vote in whatever they perceive to be in their own best economic interest.

In fairness, it's probably her first time on television. The other two have no excuse.

Seems as if our politicians have been listening to Paddy O'Gorman's court reports on the Sean O'Rourke Show.

Well I for one know people who have been sexually assaulted but they were afraid to pursue the matter.

I must be costing the state a fortune. A neighbour of mine had a fine for motoring offences that she couldn't/ wouldn't pay. She was arrested by appointment and taken to mountjoy in a taxi by two guards. Stopped for grub on the way up. One cop paid for the four of them and got a receipt. She was put in a holding cell for a few hours and given a bus ticket back to Sligo and was in back in her local pub at 9.30 PM.

Most people don't give a fiddlers about cronyism or corruption. All most people want is another few Euro in their pockets, whether that comes about by more welfare or lower taxes. Nobody votes to make themselves poorer.

Maybe but you don't know how that will work out when you're voting.
