Imagine Enda Kenny just burst through the doors now. I think they would literally rip him limb from limb.

The people have been let down very badly though, you can feel the anger and the hurt in them.

Special needs children are on the lowest of the low spectrum......

We should be ashamed the way they are treated in the educational system.

That's the point though isn't it?

It's just people totally frustrated.......it's all one-way traffic....

I lost all respect for the government when they took medical cards off sick children (and adults), cut SNAs and resource teaching hours and reduced the Respite Care Grant by over €300.

Not according to HO Chi with his cowanesk type of early morning rant.

Leo has a lot to answer for, though he appears to me to be a bit "Teflon"....

This was comedy gold. I couldn't stop laughing, it was brilliant. The state of the audience, Father Ted stuff. Your man's reaction when Vincent asked him if he had ever put his private part in a pigs mouth was priceless.

He starts at 11.30 tonight, he will be running in to tomorrow morning, is it a first for the show?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

I don't know what Vincent is trying to achieve by having a bunch of 'people's debate' leftovers hanging around in the background on his Monday night show! Last nights lot were the weirdest yet.
It's supposed to be a serious current affairs show, but could anyone take last nights effort seriously. Vincent compounded the farce by asking Michael McNamara if he had ever put his 'private parts' in a pigs mouth. He, (Vincent), has become a parody of himself.
What a shambles of a show!

Most people don't give a toss about this whole affair. Callinan disgraced himself about the whistleblowers and should have resigned. If Enda helped him on his way, so much the better.

Robert Dowds defending the indefensible. Really thought he was going to crack there. Pity Mick Clifford butted in at the crucial moment.

I think this series should be renamed The Whingers Forum.
Most people I know are doing OK and think the on balance the government have done an OK job given the dire state of the economy when they came in.
For sure, they have made mistakes but so does every government in the world.
This viewpoint is never represented in the audiences at any of these 'debates'. I wonder why?

Not much has improved where I live.

Ann Phelan is a junior minister and she didn't know FF had the funding for the country when she came into power.

Could it be something to do with the constant lies and corruption that their supporters are afraid to appear on TV.

Looking at the audience tonight, some in wheelchairs, some with disabilities, some with sick children, some on JobBridge Scam, I think quite a few of them have good reason to 'whinge'

Why would you be surprised at that, when you had comical Kelly talking about morality this morning.

No, I don't live in Dublin. I live in the 'sticks'. I'm paying more tax than I was five years ago, I'm paying USC and property tax and water charges. But I recognise that we need to balance our books.
There seems to be a growing body of people in this country who think that money grows on trees. They want every service under the sun but won't pay for anything.
