Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm not liking the new format at all. Sometimes it's an endurance not to reach for the remote.

Wallace is supposed to have got some of it edited out or else he was going to call in the lawyers.

TV3 should have called his bluff instead of bottling it as usual.

I read that they had to edit a bit of it, sure we'll see soon enough it's not long till 10pm now.

I hope Wallace got ripped a new one, he's a hypocrite considering he is a former property developer himself with debt that the taxpayer is saddled with.

Correct and right, let him hang his forking banners somewhere the taxpayer isn't responsible for.

Was a big man back in the day, flew too close to the Sun, crashed and burned.

And Joe Average had to pick up the pieces of his overinflated ego.

    Can't stand the lad.

I don't think you would want to cross Mick Wallace...I say he would be quite nasty.

    On Marian Finucane's program before.

"So I knew of a guy [who] made a living out of a gun," he states in the interview. "I made contact with him and said: ‘Listen, there’s a guy owes me £20,000 — will you get it for me?’ He said he would give me £16,000 and keep £4,000.

"There was a guy working for the builder and I deliberately went for a pint with him. ‘Did you hear I’m getting the money out of your boss?’" I said to him. "‘I hired a hitman and he’s going to get it. Don’t tell anyone now.’

"Next day I got a phone call from the managing director. ‘Mr Wallace,’ he says, ‘I believe there is a bit of a financial dispute on that job. Can we meet and talk about it?’

"I met them and they offered me £15,000. I said I’d take £16,000. Of course, I never would have dreamt of actually hiring the hitman. I only used him as leverage, but it worked."

State assets being sold cheap to overseas investors to then rent back to Irish people at a rip off, good business sense.

It's Wexford Co Council that the woman has a problem with. That's who's trying to evict her. What's that got to do with the government?

That's because it's end of year, they are blowing the remaining cash in the budget so they don't get their budgets cut next year. Pure crazy, I've seen it happen around me every year.

I'd like if he asked Wallace what a typical quality 3 bedroom house should now cost to construct just so we would have a relatively honest unbiased figure.
