I actually can't believe that some of the candidates have this issue.

Did one woman say this is the government intervening in family matters by allowing abortion. It is, in fact the opposite.

Fair play to Vinnie for putting him right.

Surprised he didn't pull Michelle up on her screwing the taxpayer for a 'phone bill.

No different to the playground that the outgoing Government turned our national parliament into then.

To be fair to these people, this is probably the closest to representation that most of them will have had in the last 5 years... or the next 5 thanks to the party whip system.

Bird brain referred to the people of Castlebar as All Ireland champions in Whingeing. When given the opportunity to retract later he wouldnt withdraw the remark and had to make an embarrassing climb down today when sobriety probably kicked in. Showing off to his fellow blueshirts who are no doubt sharpening the knifes now waiting the opportunity to dump him out on his arse. He wasnt much good in the debate last week but when he can go off on a rant uninterrupted, the results are usually a woeful train wreck.....do we really want five more years of this bozo meeting the Europeans with his trousers down bent over?

They throw a G in the word rural up on Mayo. I like it.

Too many people not accustomed to public speaking. It ruins the flow. I say that as someone who can't string two words together if people are looking at me.
