Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

does M-L O'Donnel sleep upstairs in TV3? She's always bloody on.

She hangs around the studio in case invited guests fail to show up, the same with RTE and SOR. Sort of old age groupeee.

Conway should put his money where his mouth is and vote against McNulty in the Seanad by-election.

Difficult to know just where his mouth is!

Has McNulty taken a vow of silence or something? Not a peep out of him. Mad.

I'd love if Averil asked Vinny what he has against her husband.

I kinda feel sorry for Averil. She's not responsible for the sins of her FF forefathers.

    Poor oul' Averil is alright.

Averil, please, please, please ask Fionnan to come back on the show. I miss his arguments with Vinny.

That's true, but she doesn't have to pretend that there weren't any!

    He is a loss.
Browne annoys me. Had to laugh at an interview with Shane Coleman on Sunday where he talked about how inclusive his show was to all sorts of panellists.
He's the only guy i know who has banned a guest.

Surely FG wouldn't be cynical enough to put a blind person forward to explain their case, in the hope that people would be more sympathetic.

    Would they?

Lads do you want to mass text the show to bring back Fionnan.
    What's the text number.

Did he ban Fionnan or did Fionnan get thick and refuse to appear on the show?

Vinny has mentioned a few times that the Indo no longer provide their paper for the newspaper preview, it seems that someone in the Indo is taking a stand.

There are three sides to this story - Vinny's side, Fionnan's side and the truth ;)

Something similar with Brian Lenihan who often gets a soft ride for obvious reasons when many believe he was one of the worst finance ministers ever.

An Irish Water "leak". There'll be plenty of those in the years to come.

I can deal with the property tax but I'm nervous about the water charges. I don't think the allowances are going to go very far each day :(

I don't think people realise how expensive it is to provide a water supply. I live out in the 'sticks' and 5 years ago I had to upgrade my private water supply and my sewerage treatment. It cost me €10,000. OK, I won't be paying water charges but it would be many years before the charges would add up to anything like that amount.

Let's see what disciplinary action will be taken against the medical staff in that awful case.

I agree, but in general it is cheaper to build a house in a rural area than it is to buy a house in a major town or city.

Disciplinary action is never taken against professional people, the small guy takes the hit. It has never been more obvious since this crowd came into power.
IE. the clown that lost several million in finance, going to the court of auditors in the EU. There is more but Phil has lawyers.

It's swings and roundabouts. The point is that someone has to foot the bill. There are too many people who think that they shouldn't have to pay for anything.

She is the one that Paddy Rielly had to leave the county over. I think it was cleared up afterwards when he was asked to come back.

I've no issue paying for services but I'm concerned that the allowances aren't adequate. A family of 2.7 people will be allowed 7 toilet flushes a day. Anyone with young children will know that that is not nearly enough.

This is ridiculous. It was a big news day with McNulty not wishing to be elected for the Seanad and Enda with more egg on his face, and Vinnie is focusing on something that happened 40 years ago

Vinny said that he is going to discuss it after this.
