Jaysus, this Cahill/Adams thing is being flogged to death at this stage. Most people in this country are more concerned with the fiasco that is Irish Water, but the D4 journos and the likes of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are determined to keep it going. No surprise there.

FG and FF have behaved dreadfully over this. Kenny has refused to meet so many other people, but decides to meet Maria Cahill. Obviously there's a political motive behind the meeting.

That said, Adams is in danger over this.

I admit that Micky Martin and Inda are making as much political hay out of this as they can but it's still a very serious issue. Shows SF to be every bit as hypocritical as any of the others.

Agreed, but the fact that FF and FG have latched onto this like a dog with a bone is more indicative of the fact that they're scared sh!tless of the popularity of Sinn Fein, and they're using this as nothing more than a political football.
The future of Sinn Fein lies with the likes of Mary Lou McDonald, Pearse Doherty and Peadar Toibin. There's no doubt that Adams should resign as party leader but FG and FF are merely using this for their own grubby ends.

Yeah that's the nature of Irish politics. I doubt Inda or Micky are losing sleep over this woman but I've no problem seeing his hypocrisy exposed.
