MLOD has a 72% attendance rate in the Senate.

Has she the guts to stand with the people over water.IMOP she will fail the people going by the bullshíté she spews.

On those days there's seemingly quite a low overall attendance. Wonder why?

Her attendance on radio and tv airwaves is 95%! The irony.

I think Kitty Holland is more of an advocate than a journalist.

Not everyone agrees, but John Drennan is very well informed, and very witty

    Certainly close.
But if you read his articles, he has no problem calling it like it is and far from a yes man.

Two politicians deciding on the winners! This is a complete joke.

They're probably the cheapest people he could get.......and yes it is a joke!

These kind of awards are just a mutual love-in by members of certain professions.

And nobody sees anything wrong with an elected politician and an elected a Government hand picked crony being the jury for the journalist of the year.? Is Ming more likely to choose a journalist who gives him a hard time? I doubt it.... Anyway, Ming is simply there to promote his own agenda, NOT to have any objective or reasoned opinion on who the Best Friend Of The Vincent Browne Show should be... His top story of the year "the water charges", serves his own agenda...

No elected member should be on this panel... They have neither the objectivity nor the maturity...

    I actually agree.
He seems to live politics and sometimes his metaphor-laden pieces can be funny.

I think Vinnie is the best journalist of the year. He's the only one that asks the tough questions.

Is their a worst Journo of the year award.

Eoghan Harris is not a journalist, just a rabble rasier that suits the rag, he writes for, he got fooked out of FG, fooked out of the UUP, and before a supporter of the criminal gang called the OFIRA. What a legacy.

I do not need an ad to sup the glorious the black base and the creamy top, what Auther gave us should be cherished forever, its sex in a glass, for the connoisseur.

Setting out to deliberately kill schoolchildren and civilians getting caught up in warzones are not the same thing.

    Jesus ****ing christ.

No he isn't...........he appears to be trying to somehow justify the deliberate massacre of schoolchildren in Pakistan because of British or Americans actions in Afghanistan.

It just seems to be wildly inconsistent with his normally rational view of things then again maybe I don't watch him enough.

Try telling that to the relatives of the countless thousands of people killed by American and British Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm sure it would be a wonderful consolation for them

I don't think he was trying to justify it..I think he was trying to highlight the fact that Americans and the British have killed thousands over the years and very little is said about it, regardless of their motivation.

Whatever happened in the past, there is NO possible justification for what happened today. I am disgusted by Vincent's attitude to this.

He might be coming across as a bit brazen about it, but his point about the bombing of the Middle East by America and Britain is an important one.
