Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jeepers, the show just took a rapid u-turn back into morbidity there.

It was going well there for a while, actually very enjoyable. :(

I've never voted FF in my life but if I was to go on a night out with anyone on that panel in the hope of having a bit of crack and a few laughs, it would be the bould Willie everytime.

The rest of them are as dry as chalk.

Two things tonight's show has reminded me:

    1. How entertaining VB's show used to be. It was essential viewing every night in 2010/2011. There was regular meltdowns and huge rows.
    2. That Mario Rosenstock used to actually be funny.

Pascal shoud stand on his hands, his words would be more clearer.

it has gone really awful in the last couple of years, Browne seems to surround himself with 2 or 3 guests who share his views plus one unfortunate government or slightly right leaning victim that they can all shout at

I agree on the Rosenstock point too - it worked as a light-hearted radio segment, now he's just milking it

It's not good news Harry... I rang the girls and they said that they are "way out of our league"... So, I've managed to hook us up with a couple of replacement gals at short notice..

Fine Gael says none of it's candidates will take part in Vincent's 40 constituency debates.

This must be a blow to any new candidates that could do with the exposure. And I don't think it's going to do Kenny any favours as it appears Fine Gael are running scared.

Another one of Sinn Fein's young, well dressed intellectuals with no experience in electronic engineering..

    Either running scared or arrogant.

I think Enda is losing support from within the party at a shocking rate.

It's mad that they can make a play and a film about the guarantee before they could even have an inquiry.

IMHO FF biggest asset is Enda Kenny.

I think you were asked a direct question, Eoin... And he gives us a history lesson.... Kind of ironic given that he is from a party that has a sit in when the Government doesnt answer their questions directly.

That guy is exactly as I would picture a FF senator.
A former auctioneer-type with a degree of some sort and a slightly better accent than the bog standard FF fodder. But still inescapably, unmistakeably FF.

At the same time that Merrill Lynch were advising our Government, they were in talks with Bank Of America about a take over to save themselves from Bankruptcy....... Have a look at Too Big To Fail, it's a very good movie to get a quick two hour course in the bankruptcy of Lehmans

Ask eoin would Sinn Fein have invested some of the Northern Bank money in to Anglo to rescue it..

Peter Matthews has the look of a man who got in to politics for all the right reasons but now realises it is absolutely futile.... He looks absolutely disheartened.. I dont think we'll see him back after the next election..

    Never was.

It has no teeth. Will reveal nothing we don't already know. And nothing will come of it only a big bill to the taxpayer.

It was only established as a sop by the government to point at and say they are doing something about something.

Complete and utter waste of time and money.

I could happily live without MLOD's musings on what happened in Paris.

Just keep l'Ambassadeur on till the end Vinnie.

If it was done earlier there would've been some merit. The only reason it is going ahead now is to use it as an election point scorer. Waste of time and money now.

He is. He actually comes across as someone with a sense of humour.

    Very unusual for a diplomat.
