Looking for a Dutch Oven

Hi,

I am looking to get hold of a 6 to 8 Litre Dutch oven, some people call them skillets but basically a big pot with a lid and handle, ideal for cooking over a flame.
If anybody knows anywhere that I can buy them in Ireland I would be very grateful. I need one for next weekend so cant get one online.

You can get extra large enamel cast iron casserole pots in Homestore and More for about €60. As good as a Dutch Oven.

'As good as ...'? What's the difference? I was under the impression that 'dutch oven' was simply the American term for a heavy casserole pot.

I don’t believe a genuine Dutch Oven has any enamel on it so you can use it on an open fire as well as an oven. I wouldn’t use an enamelled pot on a fire.
